Disston Heights Civic Association is dedicated to serving our community by bringing neighbors, local businesses, and city officials together to share information and solve problems. Our members enjoy a monthly newsletter, monthly meetings with interesting speakers and reports from our local police officers, and special events like Easter Egg Hunts and Halloween Parties. DHCA is the largest neighborhood civic association in St. Petersburg, representing over 5,000 homes. We are always looking for new members who want to become active in their community. Please come to our next meeting and introduce yourself!

Meetings are the second Tuesday of every month and meet in the Fellowship Hall of the St. Petersburg Community Church, 4501 30th Avenue N., St. Petersburg, FL
A membership application can be downloaded from the Resources page.
Wondering what DHCA meetings are like? The meetings are a forum for neighborhood issues including code violations, crime watch, traffic plans (like installation of speed bumps), and commercial projects in the area (for example, installation of new cell towers or rezoning a piece of land). A community service officer typically gives a short report on the past month's crime statistics and takes questions. Speaker topics include areas of broad interest such as hurricane preparation, taxes, political candidates for mayor and city council, and personal safety.
